Personality Profile

My race of people are very emotional, and are always showing their emotions through the colour of their skin, eyes, lips and hair. They live on both land and sea and when they need to defend themselves, they blend into there surroundings. Since they are very emotional, they show their emotions through the colour they change to. The only time they don't show their emotions is when they are sleeping, which their skin goes a soft pink (their neutral colour, where all skin colours have that colour as a base. They are a very happy race and calm race. They are at their happiest when they are flying in the air on their pet teagle (tiger/eagle), and at this time they become so overjoyed that their skin turns a mixture of warm colours and lips, eyes etc mixture of cool colours. They are usually a happy, relaxed and joyful species until they become sad, angry or any negative emotion, this is when they become very crazy with their emotions. When they have extreme emotions, their features change according to the emotion and become a very bright colour. However to compliment their warm coloured skin, their eyes, lips and hair go a bright cold colour with a base colour of baby blue or a cold yellow . When they become angry their skin goes fluro orange and their hair eyes and lips go bright green. They also have a very unique feature where when they are any emotion which requires defense, such as scared, they eyes and lips go crazy and get a strange pattern which is unique to each creature and they adapt animal features, such as tiger teeth, bats wings, or dinosaur features. Because they live in the sea during the day and land during the night, they need very big eyes and night vision. They are also very defenseless while swimming in the sea, so they have long tentacle hair that shoots darts so they have a quick defense against predators. When the go out of the water onto land, the tentacle hair shrinks smaller, so that it doesn't always get in the way. For protection on land, they also have amour skin to protect them. They have big ears so as to hear better at night, but they shrink in water because they have no use there. So that they can swim, they have webbed hands and feet.

This is my first experimentation, and what I did was create a mask from from the head of a emu, and rubbed out everything but the head and beak. I then made a layer of the frogs left eye and used hue/saturation to make the eye purple.



This one I made by using 3 different images, I used eagle wings, the ears of a hare and the squirrels body. I layered each animal and used masks to rub out everything but the wings and ears, then changed the colour by using hue/saturation.

With this image i used an overlay to give her fur skin and using a mask to rub out the hair and shirt. Then I coloured the yes and mouth green using hue/saturation. Then, so i could liquify her eyes and mouth while still coloured, i merged all the layers, then liquified then to make her look angry.

This one again uses masks give it emu hair, and a camel mouth. I made 2 layers out of the mouth, one with the tongue and one with the lips and hue/saturation to colour the lips and tongue purple and red.

So for Creative Media, we had to pick 3 emotions and then find at least 3 images on that emotion and describe them so here they are:

ANGER:

This image show a close up of an angry man, whose face is scrunched up to suggest this emotion. He eyes are squinting, his mouth close & not smiling, also his eyebrows pointing down, all this suggests his anger.

This is a picture of a screaming, angry spartan who looks like he is about to kill you, watch out(!!!), who is holding a machete type knife & wearing a spartan soldiers uniform. He also has an arrow sticking out of his armor, a cut just underneath his eye & is surrounded by dead bodies, all this suggests that he is at war. This most likely is the source of his anger. His anger is shown through mostly his facial expression with his eyes & eyebrows scrunched up, mouth open screaming.

This angry Asian man who just got told his favorite sushi shop just ran out of sushi is obviously angry because his fists are clenched, eyes are squinted and mouth is screwed up, all showing his emotion.

BOREDOM:

Often you can tell when someone is bored because they have their head resting on their arms and are gazing into nothing. This is shown in the picture of the Bored Boy with a crew cut.

Again this girl with an awful wearing guy clothes has her head un her hands and staring into nothing showing her bordem.

This man is obviously bored, because he is sleeping with post it notes on his eyes and his head is resting on his arm.

When a person is surprised, they 9 out of 10 times open there mouth to show there emotion, this is displayed in the photo of the surprised adorable baby. Also the second thing that shows wen someone is surprised is their eyes. They also show what kind of surprised they are, there is happy or excited surprised, shocked surprised, angry surprised, confused surprised & just OMG surprised. This baby has their eyes open very wide, & so they are OMG surprised.

This surprised old man with a boring ugly shirt is confused surprised, you can tell this because he has his mouth open his eyes wide open & he is raising his eyebrow. Eyebrows also show alot of a persons emotion when they are surprised.

This image is a perfect example of angry surprised. Her eyes are squinted & her eyebrows pointing down shows her anger, & her wide open mouth shows her surprise. If you cover her mouth & just look at her eyes, she just looks angry, & if you do the same with her mouth she just looks surprised, this shows her mixed emotions.

Again, this image perfectly shows the classic facial expression for when a person has mixed emotions of shocked & surprised. The wide open eyes & mouth with the raised eye brows (or where they should be) shows surprised. However The shocked surprised monkey who is really cute & has square shaped hair’s (tehe) mouth is pointing down to show his sadness. :(
